News: Renault Scala in India

While we await the launch of the Almera, India is set to get Renault's alternative, the Scala. Renault's version of the Almera will come in a 1.5l four pot petrol pushing 97 hp or a1.5l diesel with 84 hp which are mated to a 5-speed manual. Lower engine output should increase fuel usage efficiency in vehicle. Everything else is similar to the Almera apart from its more attractive looks. The Scala is designed at Renault's studio in India instead of France and will be on sale next month in India. Better alternative with a quirky name, typical Renault.

  1. The best thing which I like in this car is its classy interior and low price tag which are its USP.This car has came in the market with a controversy of being a cousin of Nissan Sunny. But people are underestimating its stylish interior and spaciousness.

    1. It is in fact a Nissan Sunny. Otherwise, a Sylphy in other parts of the world. Scala is the Renault version of it and a better looking one at that.
