As clearly elaborated by Jeremy Clarkson, Aston Martin is loved by almost everybody. Including eco friendly humans and weird, anti-supercar supporters. The new Vanquish that is revealed in this blood pumping, eargasmic video should be enough to convert the minority haters to lovers of the brand, I reckon. Watch.
The Vanquish houses a naturally aspirated 6.0l V12 engine with 565 bhp and 620 Nm of torque on tap. 0 to 100 km/h is done in 4.1 seconds and the dials can run up to a top speed of 295 km/h. The gearbox isn't the usual dual clutch route. Instead, it is a 6-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic gearbox, ala Lexus LF-A's? Exterior wise, strong cues from the Virage and One-77 is borrowed but the base is similar to that of the DBS. Not sure if the Vanquish is a replacement of the DBS or not but what I do know is that it's got a very aggressive looking bodykit and 20-inchers. Bling huh? Oh, did I mention that the Vanquish's structure is full carbon fibre? |
Interior is highly customisable. From an elegant whitish interior |
To a reptile loving interior |
Or this, whatever this is. |
Lustful huh? Now, to reality. The Vanquish will start selling in the UK by the end of this year with a price tag of
£189,995. A big blow to your heart? Me too.
