News: Honda CR-Z Facelift Gets a Power Upgrade

With the Paris Motor Show inching closer, Honda has revealed an update for their much coveted hybrid. A mild mid-life cycle revamp on the CR-Zs cosmetic parts include a new nose, DRLs and a minor revise of the grille. More dramatic changes of the update will be the engine. Remember the S+ button teased? As we speculated, the CR-Z will get more oomph for the money. Though still using the same hybrid of a 1.5l engine and an electric motor, it is now tuned to give more power while retaining the same fuel economy and carbon emissions. Just to brief you car nerds out there, the current motor produces 122 bhp and 174 Nm of torque. My wish list? At least 150 bhp and 240 Nm of torque isn't too much to ask now, is it?
